Take Advantage Of PPL’s Special Rebates! 

Single-family homeowners must be PPL Electric Utilities residential customers to receive a rebate and must reside in the home. Also, a home that meets the definition of a condominium or townhouse will qualify for the audit rebate program. They must have ownership of the property and be the customer of record on the Residential Service (RS) or Residential Thermal Storage (RTS) rates. [RTS is a special type of electric heating.] Apartments do not qualify. They must also occupy the property. Rental units are not eligible.

*Audits must be performed by a certified Building Performance Institute building analyst located in PPL Electric Utilities’ service territory.

Rebates of $250 are available for customers with permanently installed electric heat. Homeowners using other fuels for primary heating can receive a $100 rebate. The selection of a company is solely the decision of the customer. *The Residential Energy Diagnostic Audit Program promotes the use of certified Building Performance Institute certified Building Analysts to perform an energy assessment of your home. Commercial Refrigeration of Harrisburg, Inc. employees BPI certified inspectors who can perform a top-to-bottom assessment, inside-and-outside inspection that includes diagnostic testing with specialized equipment to measure air leakage, moisture conditions and heating system performance, if applicable. Our certified Building Analyst will make expert recommendations that can save energy and make your home more comfortable and save you $$$!

There are assessment rebates available to partially reimburse PPL Electric Utilities customers who own and live in their single-family homes. Customers with primary electric heat can qualify for $250.00 and those with other heating types can qualify for $100.00. Rebates are limited to the first 5,000 PPL EU customers who act on this offer.

Our Building Analysts are certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI), a national resourcefor building science technology that sets standards for assessing and improving the energy performance of homes. You must have a BPI certified analyst perform this inspection to qualify for the rebates described above and the certified Building Analyst is required to sign our section of your Rebate Application form for you to qualify for your rebate.
